A purpose built 24-bed Treatment and Recovery Centre in Manchester. Constructed in an area that was historically 'back to back' terraced housing, the site had remained a vacant brownfield plot for sometime.
The building is predominantly single storey, arranged around a series of enclosed and open garden courtyards. The entrance area in 2-storey and includes a double height cafe bistro atrium. Rooflights and courtyards ensure the building is flooded with natural daylight, proven to have a beneficial effect on outcomes for residents.
