The scheme provides a 60 bed care home for a national care operator on a sloping site in a scenic part of Cumbria. The elevations make best use of the natural topography which affords the opportunity to locate communal lounges at each end of the building elevated to exploit views of the surrounding hills. The scheme includes 10 larger bedrooms which all include views in two directions.
